What is Legends of Adventure and how do I play?
Legends of Adventure is a fantasy board game in which all of the players are trying to cooperatively complete 10 adventures in order to become Legends. In order to do so, players must work together to defeat Monsters along the way.
Players become Heroes of different types and go forth to undertake up to 10 adventures. To complete an adventure, the players must defeat a group of monsters equal to the number of players. If four players are playing, then they will face four monsters in each adventure. The adventures and the Monsters have powers that modify game play. In order to defeat the Monsters and complete the adventure, the players have to jointly outscore the Monsters’ combined levels. This is done by rolling dice for each level of Hero and Treasure Card played. Each successful roll adds to the level of the players. Once they have defeated the Monsters, they receive loot in the form of Treasure Cards that will help them in future adventures. The variety of cards provides a different scenario not only for each adventure but also for each game.
